GA news – the hottest gaming news for you

By Coach Alex

Welcome back to the GA news. Your number 1 news source for everything that’s going on in the world of gaming and the GAMERS ACADEMY. This week for you: GA visits the Catch Glory horse stud to play FIFA against Bundesliga stars, “Mo coaches” episode 3 in the making and the third episode of our Road to Glory series with European Champion Kevin Reiser.

Let’s get started.

GA vs. Rogon player agency

On Friday, the GAMERS ACADEMY team took a trip to the Catch Glory horse stall where the Rogon players are taking part in a training camp. First, we’d like to introduce you to our host. The Rogon player agency is one of the biggest player agencies in Europe. A lot of star players are signed to them – we’re talking the likes of Roberto Firmino from Liverpool, Marcel Sabitzer from RB Leipzig or Thilo Kehrer from Paris Saint Gemain who was the first guest on our “Mo coaches” series (check it out on MoAuba vs Thilo Kehrer ). The agency has a yearly event where most of the players meet up for a week and spend time together. This year, a special surprise was waiting for the players. A FIFA tournament with the star coaches of the GAMERS ACADEMY. Our coaches Kevin, Ivan, Lukas and Dennis played very intense games with some big name Bundesliga players. Stay tuned for a lot of quality content from our trip coming very soon.

“Mo coaches” episode 3

While everyone was busy playing the GA FIFA tournament, our world champion coach MoAuba recorded the third episode of the fan favorite “Mo coaches” series. Due to his busy schedule we set up an online conference for Mo, his star guest (who we have to keep a secret for now) and Mats – our commentator. Just like in the previous episodes, Mo played two games against his guest – a big time Bundesliga player. Stay tuned – more infos on episode 3 are coming soon.

Road to Glory episode 3

After announcing our new European Champion coach Kevin Reiser together with his GA exclusive Road to Glory series last week. We’ve already recorded two new episodes (check it out on https://gamers-academy.com/title/fut/). This week, it’s all about his rewards and the upcoming Weekend League. After the WL Rewards and some completed SBCs Kevin has a new team on the grid. The upcoming WL will be exciting again! You can follow Kevin on the GA Twitch stream and watch him live and find out if he will reach the elite ranks. Maybe Elite 1 is already due this week. a

GA news – the hottest gaming news for you

By Coach Alex

It’s time for another fresh week with some hot GA news. Your number 1 news source for everything that’s going on in the world of gaming and the GAMERS ACADEMY. This week for you: GA goes DFB – from Thursday till Sunday we’re part of the eSports summer camp of the DFB Foundation Egidius Braun. Also – the third episode of Kevin Reiser’s Road to Glory is coming on Friday + a sneak peak of this week’s blog episodes. Let’s get started:

GA x DFB Foundation Egidius Braun

We’re very proud to announce our partnership with the DFB (German Football Association) and the DFB Foundation Egidius Braun. Egidius Braun (born 27 February 1925 in Breinig) was, from 1992 to 2001, the eighth president of the DFB Subsequently, he was appointed Honorary President. That same year, Braun founded the “DFB Foundation Egidius Braun”, which takes care of distressed youth. Furthermore, the “Egidius-Braun Award” is awarded by the WDR In 1985, he was awarded the Bundesverdienstkreuz. There is a yearly soccer camp for U15-year olds organized by the foundation and the DFB. Normally, the kids would be playing football all day and get to know some of the DFB stars. But due to the Corona virus, this year is going to be a little bit different.

There will be video conferences with stars like Jonathan Tah participating in them. And that’s where the GAMERS ACADEMY comes in. In addition to normal football, our coaches will share some FIFA knowledge with the kids to help them become better on the virtual pitch. Our coaches Kevin, Lucas and Ivan will be teaching the youngsters everything they need to know about different topics including basics (attacking and defending), tactics (formations, player instructions, etc.) and skills. On top of that, coach Kevin is going to talk about how it feels to be a European champion, how he got to where he is now, his favourite players in the game and much more. Stay tuned for more info on GA x DFB coming next week.

RTG episode 3

After giving his best in the Weekend League, Coach Kevin is set to improve his team once again with hopefully stunning rewards. Check out how the European champion is going to complete new SBCs and start of the Weekend League. Stay tuned – a new ultimate Road to Glory episode is coming this Friday.

Road to Champion – Episode 1

Road to Champion episode 1

Mental advice from the world champion

By Coach Alex

Dive into the world of MoAuba – FIFA world champion and one of the biggest stars in the gaming world. We’re showing you how the FIFA sensation prepares for the FGS finals. Get to know the person Mo and see what he’s doing mentally, physically and on the console to get fit for the final FIFA20 event of the year.

EPISODE ONE

Today, it’s all about the mental aspect of the game. We’re showing you how Mo processes losses, prepares for games and how he always keeps calm.

How to process losses

Not long ago, Mo lost the console final in the VBL grand final – partly due to an in-game error where he couldn’t sub on any players. Definitely a very frustrating experience. But Mo didn’t let it get through to him – he processed the loss by spending a little bit of time distracting himself from the game. He spent time alone, with his family and his friends. This helped him get his head free and get back to playing FIFA at his full strength.

How to prepare for an important game

When preparing himself for an important game, the FIFA legend likes to spend time on his own, watching inspirational videos of big sports and gaming moments, for example his win at the FIFA19 world cup. He also likes to listen to motivating music (check out the link to the playlist if you’re interested) which helps him focus on the upcoming challenge.

How to keep calm in intense games

Now, we all know how frustrating FIFA can get (Come on, every one of us has smashed a controller at least once 😉) and it’s no exception for the FIFA world champion. But Mo knows it’s all about staying calm. His tactic is to always imagine that the score is still 0:0 so there’s still time left to score more goals and turn the game around. The important lesson here is to never give up!

The New Players: PS5 & XBOX Series X

The new PS5 and Xbox Series X are finally coming – what you need to know and the best memes!

What a year! After 7 years there is a new player on the horizon!

By Coach Alex

A few weeks ago, Sony and Microsoft finally ended the long wait and announced what we’ve all been waiting for. New consoles are finally here! The PlayStation5 and Xbox Series X are set to release in November. It’s about time, especially for PS users as most of our PS4 sound like they could take off like a plane at any given moment😉.

But let’s continue with the important things, release date, new features, etc. We’re starting with the newest PlayStation hardware family member.

Play Station 5

According to several reports, the PS5 will be released on the 20th of November in America and Europe with a steep price tag of 500$. In contrast to the current and older PlayStations, the PS5 will be available in a white colorway. The console comes with a wireless headset, a remote, a charger and a HD camera. But there is more. Sony finally listened to the fans and made the PS5 downward compatible, this means you can play PS4 games on the PS5 without any issues – pretty sick if you ask us.

Xbox series x

While several platforms seem to know release date and price for the PS5, there isn’t a lot of info on the new Xbox. There are speculations around a high- and low-end version, between 500$ and 700$. But other than that, all we know is that it’ll definitely be an upgrade from the current Xbox One. There may not be much information on the new consoles yet, but we’ll keep you updated as soon as there is something going on, so stay active and look out for our emails. Other than that, the meme community has a lot of fun roasting the designs of the new gaming platforms – check out our top 5 PS5/Xbox memes!

Recap: VBL Grand Final

Recap: the VBL Grand Final 2020

The big recap of the 2020 VBL Grand Final 3 things we´ll remember from this years final

By Coach Alex

1. A star has risen

Yannic „Yannic0109“ Bederke is the new german champion! The 19 year old player for FC Augsburg wasn´t really considered as one of the favourites. Even though he made it to the final last year his success is an even bigger surprise. Bederke wants to spend the prize money on establishing himself as a pro FIFA player.

2. The great comeback of Kai „deto“ Wollin

The 31 year old has made a comeback no one would´ve ever thought was possible. He was the oldest player that qualified for the tournament. Even though he lost the cross console final against „Yannic0109“ he ended up winning the title as the best german PS4 player. Which is pretty crazy if you consider the opponents he came up against, including MoAuba, current FIFA world champion.

3. Struggling giants

While MoAuba may have lost the console final, possibly due to an ingame error, where he couldn´t sub on players. Other big time FIFA players were struggling as well. Last years winner Michael „MegaBit“ Bittner lost in the round of 16. Erhan „DrErhano“ Kayman and Yannick „Jeffry95“ Reiners failed in the group stages. This years VBL Grand Final was definitely a final of the underdogs!

MoAuba vs Thilo Kehrer (Paris St. Germain)

Episode 1 - MoAuba & Thilo Kehrer

Our new series “Mo coaches” launches today! Check out how Mo plays against and coaches some of the biggest stars in the world of football. Our first guest on the show is PSG star and German international Thilo Kehrer.

By Coach Alex

Watch how the star centre back plays two games against the FIFA19 world champion with a little twist 😉 . If you’re interested in some quality roasting, good gameplay and good vibes check it out on …

For those who didn’t know yet, Thilo is one of the hottest prospects in his position. After starting his professional career at Schalke 04, it didn’t take long for PSG to develop interest in the German and Burundi native. In 2018, the French giants bought him for a record- breaking fee for a Bundesliga defender of 40 million euros.

But this episode is not just about playing FIFA, Thilo and Mo are also playing for a good cause!

By donating on viprize.org/moauba you can choose from several guaranteed prizes like a PlayStation controller or PSG kit signed by Thilo Kehrer and you even have the chance to win an exclusive FIFA 1on1 coaching with MoAuba! 🤩 The bigger the amount you donate the higher are your chances to win. The proceeds go towards the Thilo Kehrer foundation. The foundation supports social projects in the native country of Thilo’s mother – Burundi.

Check out how the match ended at bild.de

Stay tuned – the next episode with a German football star is coming soon!

Who do you think will be Mo’s next opponent? Let us know in the comments.
