Dribbling

In our series "Player Attributes Explained", we give you more information about the influence of the individual attributes of the players on the gameplay. The attributes have been the same in the FIFA series, which will soon be called EA-SPORTS FC, for several parts and are divided into the six big categories Pace, Shooting, Passing, Dribbling, Defence and Physicality, especially in the Ultimate Team mode.

Today we will give you an overview of the individual attributes of the Dribbling category. In total, the dribbling category has six attributes. However, you often don't know how the individual attributes affect the gameplay and what strengths or weaknesses you can expect if one of the attributes is particularly high or low. For this reason, we explain the individual attributes below.

Dribbling - All attributes at a glance

  • Agility: Agility indicates how agile a player is with the ball. Players with a high level of agility can take acrobatic shots and also clear the ball acrobatically defensively. The higher the agility, the tighter the player also guides the ball at the foot.

  • Balance: This attribute describes the balance in duels or when dribbling. The higher the balance, the more agile the player is on the ball and the better he can execute body tricks.

  • Reactions: This value indicates how quickly a player can react to a certain situation. With a high reaction, a player can, for example, react much faster to a rebound in order to make use of it.

  • Ball Control: Ball control shows how well a player can handle the ball on his foot. The higher the value, the better the player can receive and carry passes. This reduces the probability of ball reception errors or of the ball being missed.

  • Dribbling: This attribute describes how well a player can get past the opponent without losing the ball. The higher the value, the closer the ball is to the foot and the opponent has a much harder time winning the ball.

  • Composure: This value shows the distance from which the player comes under pressure from an opponent. In pressure situations, players tend to make mistakes. This can be misplaced passes or the untimely knocking away of balls in defensive situations. The calmer the player is, the fewer mistakes happen in these pressure situations.
