First designs known
For each new FIFA edition EA SPORTS sets new accents in the card design. The developer has also made new design decisions for FIFA 23. However, the colouring of the individual cards remains the same. Only nuances like the design shapes in the background change slightly. So far, the design is known for seven different cards.
Common and rare gold cards shine in the usual gold and the inform cards have a predominantly black design, as in FIFA 22. The Ones to watch cards, which traditionally depict the first promo, feature a dark purple colour scheme again this year. The Icon cards remain silver-gold, while the accent colour of the Hero cards changes from red to orange.

World Cup Hero
Brand new to the repertoire, however, are the World Cup Hero cards, which will be available from the 11th of November. These are a special version of the already known FUT Heroes. The card design is somewhat reminiscent of the MOTM cards from FIFA 22, but the orange-gold colour of the World Cup Hero cards is somewhat darker.
