Check Out Neymar’s Incredible FIFA 21 FUT Squad

Check Out Neymar's Incredible FIFA 21 FUT Squad

Neymar relies mostly on his own countrymen in FUT. (Credit: EA Sports)
Superstar Neymar was not in the squad for Paris Saint-Germain’s win this weekend, the Brazilian preferring to spend his time in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team instead. With a FUT squad as strong as his, it’s no wonder.

Neymar is a true gamer and esports fan. The self-confessed CS:GO player is also playing FIFA 21 when he is not on the real pitch. Unsurprisingly, he relies mainly on Brazilian legends for his incredibly strong FUT team.

Neymar's FIFA 21 Ultimate Team Squad

There is almost no FIFA pro in the world where Neymar’s In-Form card (92 OVR) is not in the starting eleven. The Brazilian is of course allowed to fall back on his own Pro Player card, which is rated 99 across the board. We can hardly imagine how a 99 OVR Neymar feels like.

The PSG star was playing FIFA 21 rather than football this weekend and his team was spotted on Reddit. Unsurprisingly, Neymar’s team is quite something: seven Brazilians are in his team, complemented by perhaps the best central defense that FIFA 21 has to offer.
There’s not a single weak position in Neymar’s FUT team. (Credit: theEvatra12 via Reddit)
Only the goalkeeper needs clarification. Icon Moments Peter Schmeichel, as great as he is, is far from the best option at goal.

Neymar's FUT Lineup

  • GK: Peter Schmeichel (Icon Moments) – 93 OVR
  • LB: Roberto Carlos (Prime Icon) – 91 OVR
  • CB: Paolo Maldini (Mid Icon) – 92 OVR
  • CB: Virgil van Dijk (TOTY) – 96 OVR
  • RB: Carlos Alberto (Mid Icon) – 90 OVR
  • CM: Ruud Gullit (Mid Icon) – 90 OVR
  • LM: Neymar (Pro Player) – 99 OVR
  • CAM: Kaká (Prime Icon) – 91 OVR
  • CAM: Pelé (Mid Icon) – 95 OVR
  • RM: Garrincha (Mid Icon) – 92 OVR
  • ST: Ronaldo (Mid Icon) – 94 OVR
Even with our small remark on Schmeichel, Neymar’s FUT lineup is outright scary. Anyone going against it in Weekend League isn’t going to be in for a fun ride.

FIFA 21: Leroy Fer available via SBC in What If-Promo

FIFA 21: Leroy Fer available via SBC in What If-Promo

Leroy Fer is the next What if SBC player (Source: EA Sports)
With Leroy Fer the next SBC player has been introduced in the new FIFA 21 promo What If. The midfielder’s card is available until March 9.

What If-Fer with OVR of 85

With an overall rating of 85, Leroy Fer’s special item is still nine points better than the Feyenoord Rotterdam midfielder’s standard card. The physicality value in particular stands out with a rating of 90, while the second-best value is passing with a rating of 83. With his strong defensive values, Fer is an option for the defensive midfield; thanks to a strong shooting power with a rating of 96 and a long-range shot that is still rated at 82, the odd foray forward is also possible.

As known from the new What If promo, two additional rating points can be earned for the card. To do so, Feyenoord must score a total of six or more goals in the next five league games.

SBC solution

And how is Fer available? The Squad Building Challenge (SBC) is not too much of a challenge, just one team needs to be traded in eventually, and costs less than 100,000 coins when put together optimally. The following requirements have to be met: The eleven must contain at least one player from the Netherlands, have a team rating of 84 or more, and a team chemistry of at least 70 – this should be doable within a week, i.e. by March 9.

FIFA 21: New promo ‘What If’ started

FIFA 21: New promo ‘What If’ started

With ‘What If’ EA Sports has started the next event in FIFA 21. On Friday the first players of the new promo were presented.
‘What if’ Team 1 (Source: EA Sports)

FIFA21: These are the first players

What if … ? – That’s what everything in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team (FUT) is about at the moment. On Friday, EA Sports introduced the new promo What If and revealed the first 13 new cards of the players. The best overall rating of the first team features N’Golo Kanté of Chelsea FC, whose card is rated with 91, three points better than the best version available so far. From the Bundesliga, Jadon Sancho of Borussia Dortmund (90), Luka Jović of Eintracht Frankfurt (87) and Kevin Mbabu of VfL Wolfsburg (85) are in the first team.

What’s special about What If is that the cards are dynamic items whose values can change. Specifically, it’s a one-time improvement of the base item by two points in the overall rating if certain criteria are met. Strikers and midfielders, for example, are upgraded if their club scores a total of six or more goals in the next five league games. Defenders and goalkeepers, on the other hand, will receive the upgrade if their team goes without conceding a goal at least once in the next five league games. Games are counted from the time the item was first released in FUT.

Raphinha available via SBC

Completing the first line-up of What If are Christian Gómez of Atletico Madrid (90), Marcelo of Olympique Lyon (88), Chris Smalling of AS Roma (88), Martin Ødegaard of Arsenal FC (88), Yuri Berchiche of Athletic Bilbao (87), Roberto Pereyra of Udinese Calcio (87) and Pierre Lees-Melou of OGC Nice (86). Via SBC, Raphinha of Leeds United (87) is also available, while Francesco Caputo of Sassuolo Calcio (87) is Objectives Player. The previous promo, Headliners, had already been dynamic cards whose rating adjusted with corresponding successes. ‘What If’ is already the fourth big promo in FUT in 2021 after Headliners, Team of the Year and Future Stars.

FIFA 21: The RTTF upgrades of the knockout round in UCL & UEL

FIFA 21: The RTTF upgrades of the knockout round in UCL & UEL

The first round of RTTF upgrades is through. (Source: EA Sports)
The knockout rounds of the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League are in full swing. For FIFA 21 players, this means that there are more upgrades in store for the dynamic RTTF cards. We’ll tell you which cards are going up in rating.

FUT 21 RTTF: What is it?

The RTTF (Road to the Final) cards are dynamic special objects whose values increase when the respective player’s team makes it to the next round of the Champions or Europa League. The Champions League is currently in its eighth-final stage: Here, an upgrade beckons if the team wins the first leg and another if it advances to the quarterfinals. The Europa League is different, however, because the intermediate round was played this week – so we are one round further away from the final. Here, the only upgrade that beckons is if the team advances to the round of 16.

Whether the respective player is used in the games is unimportant for the upgrades. Only the team’s results count here.

Champions League Round of 16: The RTTF upgrades

In the round of 16 of the Champions League many dynamic RTTF maps are in use. Meanwhile the first legs have been played and the first RTTF upgrades have found their way into FIFA 21. Some of the values will be adjusted on February 26 at 19:00, coinciding with the new What If event. The return matches will take place from 09.03. – 10.03. and 16.03. – 17.03. respectively, then the chance for another upgrade beckons.
UCL RTTF upgrades after the first legs:
  • RF: Mohamed Salah (Liverpool FC) – 92 OVR -> 93 OVR
  • ZM: Georginio Wijnaldum (Liverpool FC) – 87 OVR -> 88 OVR
  • ST: Mauro Icardi (PSG) – 87 OVR -> 88 OVR
  • ZOM: Julian Draxler (PSG) – 85 OVR -> 86 OVR
  • ZOM: Julian Brandt (Borussia Dortmund) – 87 OVR -> 88 OVR
  • IV: Manuel Akanji (Borussia Dortmund) – 84 OVR -> 86 OVR
  • LM: Felipe Anderson (FC Porto) – 86 OVR -> 87 OVR
  • IV: David Alaba (Bayern Munich) – 87 OVR -> 88 OVR
  • LV: Alphonso Davies (Bayern Munich) – 86 OVR -> 87 OVR
  • ZOM: Mason Mount (Chelsea FC) – 85 OVR -> 86 OVR
  • LF: Eden Hazard (Real Madrid) – 90 OVR -> 91 OVR
  • IV: Raphaël Varane (Real Madrid) – 88 OVR -> 89 OVR
  • ZOM: Isco (Real Madrid) – 87 OVR -> 88 OVR
  • ST: Gabriel Jesus (Manchester City) – 85 OVR -> 86 OVR
  • RV: João Cancelo (Manchester City) – 86 OVR -> 87 OVR

Europa League Intermediate Round RTTF Upgrades

In contrast to the Champions League, the intermediate round in the Europa League is already finished. On February 25, the UEL RTTF cards secured their upgrades, which will also find their way into FIFA 21 Ultimate Team on February 26.

Here, the next knockout round, the round of 16, begins on March 11. Then another upgrade beckons if the team makes it to the round of 16.

  UCL-RTTF upgrades of the intermediate round:
  • ZM: Moussa Sissoko (Tottenham Hotspur) – 84 OVR -> 86 OVR
  • ST: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Arsenal London) – 89 OVR -> 90 OVR
  • ZM: Paul Pogba (Manchester United) – 87 OVR -> 88 OVR
  • LM: Marcus Rashford (Manchester United) – 86 OVR -> 87 OVR
  • MS: Dušan Tadic (Ajax Amsterdam) – 85 OVR -> 86 OVR
  • LM: Taison (Shakhtar Donzek) – 84 OVR -> 86 OVR
  • RV: Bruno Peres (Roma FC) – 84 OVR -> 85 OVR
  • ZM: Franck Yannick Kessié (AC Milan) – 84 OVR -> 86 OVR
  • ST: Ante Rebic (AC Milan) – 84 OVR -> 86 OVR
There are still some upgrades to come in the Europa League. (Source: EA Sports)
It is currently unclear whether Quincy Promes (Ajax Amsterdam) will receive an upgrade. On February 24, the Dutchman announced his move to Spartak Moscow, which means he will no longer be competing for a team that plays in the Europa League. According to EA Sports, this means that no further upgrades are possible.

FIFA 21 FUT Showdown McTominay vs Milner

FIFA 21 FUT Showdown McTominay vs Milner SBC

The 3rd FUT showdown is all about the Premier League. (Source: EA Sports)
The showdown SBC in the Eredivisie ended in a draw and with an upgrade for both players. Now the next duel is already in the starting blocks: On January 17 Manchester United and FC Liverpool meet in the Premier League, in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team Scott McTominay and James Milner.

Both cards are available as part of a Squad Building Challenge. So if you want, you can simply get both versions. The special cards increase in value depending on the result of the match. The player on the winning team gets two points on top, and in the event of a draw, both players get one point.

Both players have a total value of 85 OVR, McTominay (Manchester United) is more at home in the ZDM, Milner on the other hand is more suitable as an offensive eighth – but both cards are attractive.

FIFA 21 Showdown Scott McTominay SBC Solution

For the card of the Manchester United player, a total of three teams have to be exchanged, the costs are about 170,000 coins
  • Team with a player from Manchester United (83 OVR, at least 75 chemistry)
  • Team with a player from the Premier League (83 OVR, at least 1 TOTW, at least 70 chemistry)
  • Team with a TOTW player (84 OVR, at least 70 chemistry)

Team 1: Manchester United

Here we combine three Bundesliga players in goal and defense with a total of six Brazilians, Carlos Vela and Gonzalo Higuain from the MLS round out the team.
(Image source : FUTBIN)

Team 2: PREMIER LEAGUE

Minimally more expensive is the second team. Once again, the goalkeeper and defense come from the Bundesliga. Baptiste Santamaria from the current TOTW 15 serves as our TOTW card.
(Image source : FUTBIN)

Team 3: TOP FORM

The third team hits around 86,000 coins and is mostly from Serie A. Goalkeeper Bartlomiej Dragowski of AC Florence meets the Inform requirement.
(Image source : FUTBIN)

FIFA 21 Showdown James Milner SBC Solution

James Milner’s card already turns out to be significantly more expensive in direct comparison, costing just under 200,000 coins. This is due to the increased requirements compared to McTominay:
  • Team with a player from Liverpool FC (83 OVR, at least 75 chemistry)
  • Team with a player from England (84 OVR, at least 65 chemistry)
  • Team with a TOTW player (84 OVR, minimum 70 chemistry)

Team 1: FC Liverpool

Again, Higuain and Vela are used, the rest of the team is from Ajax Amsterdam, as well as from the Premier League. As a needed Liverpool player, we use Xherdan Shaqiri.

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Ut elit tellus, luctus nec ullamcorper mattis, pulvinar dapibus leo.

(Image source : FUTBIN)

Team 2: NATIONAL DUTY

Almost 86,000 coins are allotted to this team, we use a Bundesliga team. Jamie Vardy fulfills the Nations requirement up front, next to him we line up teammate Kasper Schmeichel for chemistry reasons.
(Image source : FUTBIN)

TEAM 3: Top Form

The price for Team 3 remains the same, but the team looks completely different. Here we combine Serie A and La Liga together. Omar Al Soma from TOTW 14 is used as the inform card.
(Image source : FUTBIN)
You can complete both FUT Showdown SBCs until January 17, just before the game starts.

FIFA 21: These 5 RTTF players are completely OP!

FIFA 21 RTTF: These 5 players are better than their stats

These 5 RTTF players are better than their stats (Source: EA Sports)
The dynamic RTTF cards in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team are some of the most popular players around, as they can go even higher in the knockout rounds of the Champions League and Europa League. Eden Hazard (90 OVR) or Mohammed Salah (91 OVR) are strong, everyone should be aware of that. Today we present you 5 RTTF cards with comparatively low total value, but which are already completely overpowered.

RTTF Ihlas Bebou

Thanks to his RTTF card, the arrow-quick TSG Hoffenheim striker mutates into the Kylian Mbappé of the Bundesliga. 96 speed, 85 shooting and 87 dribbling are outstanding and show that this is an absolute meta striker – despite a total value of 83. For currently around 100,000 coins, an absolute bargain.
(Source: EA Sports)

RTTF Lukas Klostermann

What Raphael Varane is for the Spanish La Liga, Lukas Klostermann of RB Leipzig is for the Bundesliga. With his Anchor Chemistry style, the German has a total score of 91. Due to his high tempo, he is also superior to stanied greats like Sergio Ramos or Virgil van Dijk.
(Source: EA Sports)

RTTF Kessié

Among the Europa League RTTF cards, there are a whole three central midfielders who excel. Franck Yannick Kessié has a huge advantage over Moussa Sissoko and Renato Sanches (both also with 84 OVR), however: he only costs around a quarter of his two colleagues. In addition, AC Milan is playing an outstanding season and will face a supposedly easy opponent (Red Star Belgrade) in the intermediate round – so further upgrades are likely.
(Source: EA Sports)

RTTF Denis Zakaria

The Swiss in the service of Borussia Mönchengladbach brings everything a six-man needs. Zakaria has the pace, the physicality and the defense and at under 200,000 coins is an absolute bargain. By comparison, N’Golo Kanté (Chelsea FC) has weaker stats, but costs more than double.
(Source: EA Sports)

RTTF Bruno Peres

Thanks to the RTTF cards, Serie A mutates to an absolute insider’s tip in FIFA 21. Bruno Peres makes it with his special variant among the best right-backs in FUT mode and that for just about 110,000 coins. Roma also faces a supposedly easy opponent in the intermediate round (Sporting Braga), so further upgrades are definitely possible.

FUT Freeze Event is live

FIFA 21 FUT Freeze - All Info, Players & Cards

The FUT-21 Christmas event Freeze has started (Source: EA Sports)
The Christmas event in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team has started. After FUTmas last year, this year’s promo goes by the name of FUT Freeze and brings with it some exciting special cards. We tell you what to expect in FUT 21, which players are available and which cards you can get.

FUT 21 Freeze: This is what's behind the promo

The FIFA 21 Freeze event has started and brings some hot cards with it. These are based on the Shapeshifters from last year: The Freeze players are waiting with position changes, rating boosts, weak foot upgrades or other improvements. In addition, there will be new content every day until Christmas. All contents of FUT 21 Freeze:
  • 1 new FUT Freeze team
  • 1 new RTTF team for UCL & UEL
  • 1 player SBC per day
  • 1 Puzzle SBC per day
  • Icon Swaps 1
Every evening at 19:00 you can expect a brand new player SBC, which includes some first class cards at a fair price. You can find the solutions for the Squad Building Challenges at our colleagues from EarlyGame.

FUT Freeze: The players and cards of the new promo

The FUT Freeze team includes a total of eleven new cards, which are expected to be available in card packs until December 18. Here is the overview of all new FUT 21 Freeze cards:
  • ST: Sadio Mane (Liverpool FC) 92 OVR.
  • IV: Casemiro (Real Madrid) – 90 OVR
  • LM: Marco Verratti (Paris St.-Germain) – 88 OVR
  • ZOM: Bernardo Silva (Manchester City) – 88 OVR
  • RF: Lautaro Martinez (Inter Milan) – 87 OVR
  • ST: Thorgan Hazard (Borussia Dortmund) – 86 OVR
  • LV: Lucas Torreira (Atletico Madrid) – 85 OVR
  • ZOM: Nani (Orlando City) – 84 OVR
  • ZDM: Ricardo Rodriguez (FC Torino) – 83 OVR
  • ZDM: Salif Sane (Schalke 04) – 83 OVR
  • RV: Alexandr Golovin (AS Monaco) – 83 OVR
(Source: EA Sports)
Some cards absolutely have it in them and allow you to completely rebuild your team thanks to position changes. Sadio Mané, for example, comes with the right chemistry style (Marksman) to 95 OVR in the offense. Casemiro from Real Madrid becomes the best central defender in the Spanish La Liga with Shadow, but the two cards from the German Bundesliga are also very strong. FIFA21 Tournament Season Is On

FIFA 21 TOURNAMENT SEASON IS ON!

Lefti is the first Xbox Europe Qualifier Champion in FIFA 21 (Source: https://twitter.com/bmg_lefti)
The tournament season in FIFA21 is in full swing and every FIFA Ultimate Team player can qualify via the Weekend League. First of all, you have to register on the EA homepage and agree to the official rules.
However, the real challenge starts now, because to qualify, you have to reach at least the Elite 1 rank in the Weekend League. You have to achieve 27 victories to receive the FUT Champions verification and you have time until 31.12.2020 to do so.

Once you have cleared this hurdle, you compete in the online regional cups. In these regional cups, the players collect Global Series points. The players who are on the top of the leaderboard at the end of the season make it to the regional playoffs. In the regional playoffs, the best players of this year compete against each other.

Last weekend, the first European Qualifier was on the agenda, which our coach Eleftherios ‘Lefti’ Ilias won and he earned important Global Series points for it. Although the tournament did not start well at all for Lefti, as he conceded a defeat right at the beginning of the tournament, he proved to have strong nerves and started a comeback that even brought him the title on the Xbox in the end.

On PlayStation the Swede Oliver ‘OliBoli’ Uttgren was victorious, beating Fatih Üstün in the Grand Final.

The winners took home 15,000 US dollars in addition to ranking points. The next European Regional Cup will take place on 23 and 24 January 2021.
Do you also want to take part in tournaments, but you are struggling with EA’s participation requirements? Then check out our partner NGL.
There you can register for tournaments and compete with other players.

FIFA 21 Title Update 6.0 & 6.1 released

FIFA 21 Title-Update 6.0 & 6.1 - All information about the patches

The title updates 6.0 and 6.1 are finally here (Source: EA Sports)
FIFA 21 has received a new patch. Or better said: Even two. While FIFA 21 title-update 6.0 can finally be downloaded on the consoles about one week after the PC release, the update to version 6.1 is now available for download on the PC.

FIFA 21 title-update 6.0 for consoles

Already last week EA Sports released FIFA 21 title-update 6.0 for the PC, now finally also players on PlayStation 4/5 and Xbox One/Series X|S can download the latest patch.
Among other things version 6.0 weakens the blocks of the AI defense by reducing the distance your opponents could cover when trying to take the ball from you.
The update also improves the “logic” of the defenders when intercepting passes. But there has also been a change in the offensive: the speed at which a player comes out of the pass has been reduced. So the speed boost of the FIFA 21 skill move has been reduced significantly.
FIFA 21 title-update 6.0 also makes several minor bug fixes on the game and improves the menus in FUT mode. You can read the complete list of changes in the forum of EA Sports.

First on the PC: FIFA 21 title-update 6.1

Beside the extensive patch you can expect a smaller hotfix on the PC, which has the version number 6.1. This update fixes a bug in the Pro Clubs mode of the game where stability problems could occur during drop-in matches.

To fix these errors, a problem was temporarily reintroduced that was solved in the last title update. In this case, changing the match schedule as captain of a drop-in match could cause the positions of other players to be changed incorrectly.

Title-Update 6.1 can now be downloaded on the PC, the implementation for the console versions will probably follow in a few days.
