The new year 2021 kicks off in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team with a lot of exciting content. Besides the hot Headliners promo event, the FUT mode starts into its third season and it once again holds some exciting rewards.

FUT 21 Season 3 runs until mid-February and once again consists of a total of 30 levels. Each level up rewards you with exclusive content – most of which is purely visual, however.

Season 3 is all about the winter season. So it’s no surprise that most of the club crests, stadium themes and trophies have something to do with snow and ice. Much more exciting, however, are the players that you unlock by reaching level 15 or level 30.

FUT 21 Season 3: The rewards at level 15

At the midpoint of the new season, you can choose from a total of three players who have a total value of 83 OVR. With the right chemistry style, however, they come to an overall rating of over 90. This time they come from the Italian Serie A, French Ligue 1 and the Chinese CSL.

ZM: Alfred Duncan (AC Florence) – 83 OVR
RM: Sada Thioub (Angers SCO) – 83 OVR
ST: Cédric Bakambu (Beijing Guoan) – 83 OVR

The most interesting player of the trio is clearly Duncan, who is versatile on the defensive end. With Shadow, he comes to a total of 91 in central defense and as an outside back, though Anchor is also a valid option.

Thioub, from Ligue 1, is also worth a look, scoring 89 on the left or right wing. Only Bakambu, on the other hand, falls off a bit.

The season-3-rewards for level 30

It gets really interesting at level 30, where players from the Spanish La Liga, the German Bundesliga and the English Premier League can be found:

RV: Emerson (Real Betis) – 85 OVR
ST: Alassane Plea (Borussia Mönchengladbach) – 86 OVR
LF: Christian Pulisic (Chelsea London) – 87 OVR

Brazilian Emerson mutates into the best right-back in Spain’s top division, reaching a total of 91 with Anchor – a strong link to Casemiro’s FUT freeze card is on top.

US-based Pulisic is also quite interesting. With a Marksman chemistry style, he’s versatile on offense and even comes in at 92 OVR on the wing – his work rates and four-star weak foot are also impressive.

Plea, meanwhile, marks a bulky yet mercurial forward for Bundesliga teams and makes an excellent strike partner for Erling Haaland’s POTM card.

All in all, six good special cards that await you in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team Season 3 and don’t cost a single coin to boot.
