Already in FIFA 20 the Headliners were one of the hottest promo events. If you take a look at the content, it quickly becomes clear why this is the case. Similar to the Ones to Watch or
Road to the Final players, the FUT 21 Headliners are dynamic cards that rise based on events in real sports.
Players who have performed particularly well in the current season and have already secured TOTW cards will receive particularly strong
FUT Headliners cards as part of the promotion.
These are always one point above the best Inform variant. Each time the player receives a performance-based special card, the Headliners card also rises in rating. In addition, Headliners increase once in total value if the respective team wins four league games in a row (Champions League, Europa League or Cup games are excluded here) – which means that the card is then always two points ahead.
For example, Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes has a total value of 91 with the Headliners card. If Manchester United win four consecutive Premier League games, the value increases to 92. If he makes it into one of the Teams of the Week, the total value increases further to 93, 94 and so on.
