Taking a look at the ratings, it becomes clear: Unlike last year, there is no player in the
FIFA 21 Team of the Year who reaches the maximum total score of 99.
With central defender Virgil van Dijk and right back Trent Alexander-Arnold two players of Liverpool FC can be found in the TOTY defense, who already had their place last year. Van Dijk, however, this time “only” reaches 96 OVR (in FIFA 20 he reaches 99 OVR), Trent also loses one point (94 OVR).
The second place in the central defender is occupied by Real legend Sergio Ramos, who comes to the same value as his Dutch colleague from Liverpool. Two players from FC Bayern Munich round off the TOTY defense in FIFA 21: Alphonso Davies is on the left (93 OVR), while world goalkeeper Manuel Neuer keeps a clean sheet (96 OVR).
Four of the eleven FIFA 21 TOTY players wear the jersey of the German record champion, four positions go to the English Premier League. One TOTY player each comes from Ligue 1, La Liga and Serie A – it’s a good thing that the developers have also provided strong SBCs. In any case, you shouldn’t miss out
on
Paulo Dybala’s new card.
