FIFA21 Road to the Final: Potential Upgrades are coming soon - Europa League Quarterfinals

These RTTF cards still preserve a chance for further upgrades (Source: FUTBIN)
The first legs of the respective quarter-final matches in the UEFA Europa League will take place on Thursday evening, April 8th. Then, once again, numerous soccer fans will be cheering on their club in front of their TV screens hoping their team makes it to the semifinals. However, the “real” soccer fans are not the only ones who are eagerly awaiting the UEL quarterfinal pairings.
FIFA players in possession of the coveted Road to the Final cards are also rooting for their virtual club members. With every round the club successfully completes in the Europa League, the cards receive an OVR upgrade of +1.
The principle is quite simple: the further the club gets in the competition, the stronger the RTTF card becomes in FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT). In the meantime, there are just a handful of RTTF cards left in the game, which still preserve the chance for further upgrades. After the rematches on April 15th, EA will give the lucky winners the expected stat boost..
Besides the RTTF cards for the Europa League, the upgrades for the RTTF Champions League cards are pending after the second legs of the quarterfinals in the Champions League. You can find out which players still have the chance to get an upgrade on their CL card right here.
To give you guys a better overview, we have pulled out all UEL RTTF players who are currently still in the race. In brackets you will find the current rating of the player before the quarterfinals.

England - Premier League

• Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang [91] (Arsenal London)

• Paul Pogba [89] (Manchester United)

• Marcus Rashford [88] (Manchester United)

Spain - La Liga

• Darwin Machis [87] (FC Granada)

• Takefusa Kubo [84] (Villareal CF)

Netherlands - Eredivisie

• Dusan Tadic [87] (Ajax Amsterdam)

• Quincy Promes [84] (Ajax Amsterdam)

Italy - Serie A

• Bruno Peres [87] (AS Roma)
In addition to the players and teams listed, Dinamo Zagreb from the Croatian first division and Czech league leaders Slavia Prague are also in the quarterfinals of the Euro League.
In FUT, however, neither team has RTTF cards to show. If one of the two clubs makes it to the semifinals, it’s possible that EA Sports will add an SBC, as they did with Granada’s Darwin Machis, so that FIFA gamers can get their hands on the RTTF card.
Another interesting thing about the RTTF cards is that they are used as a kind of investment for some FIFA players, as they receive progressive upgrades similar to What-If cards. If you’re sure about who’s going to the next round in a quarterfinal matchup, you can potentially make a profit in Ultimate Team Coins by buying the respective RTTF player.
