Just in time for the second week of second legs in the round of 16 of the Champions League, you can expect not only more upgrades of the RTTF cards, but also a brand new FUT showdown. This time, Antonio Rüdiger (Chelsea London) and Thomas Lemar (Atletico Madrid) go head-to-head before the two teams face off on the pitch on Wednesday night.

Both Chelsea center back Rüdiger and left midfielder Lemar get 86 OVR with their FUT Showdown card. A win for their team increases the rating by two points, a draw increases both cards by one point.

The fact that Chelsea London has the better starting position after the 1-0 win in the first leg is irrelevant for the new FUT showdown. The two teams will meet in the second leg of the Champions League round of 16 on March 17 at 9:00 pm.

However, only the map of Thomas Lemar is really exciting, because Rüdiger lacks speed to look really interesting for the current meta in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team – even with Shadow the German is simply too slow.

On the other hand, Lemar can really show off with 90 speed, 85 shooting and 93 agility. With a possible +2 upgrade, the card would then become really exciting. Both FUT Showdown variants are priced the same: around 235,000 coins are due for both players. If you want to secure one of the cards, you should rather go for Thomas Lemar. However, neither player is a real must-have.

For the central defender you have to trade two teams:

Team with a Chelsea FC player (83 OVR, min. 1 TOTW, min. 80 chemistry)
Team with a player from the Premier League (85 OVR, min. 75 chemistry)

Team 1: Chelsea

The price here is around 65,000 coins on the transfer market. As the Chelsea kicker you need, you bet on the Italian Jorginho, and as the inform card you fall back on Alessandro Diamanti from TOTW 23.

Team 2: League Finesse

The price for the second team is already almost 175,000 coins. For this you choose a Serie A team, in which right-back Cesar Azpilicueta from Chelsea FC fulfills the necessary requirements.

FUT Showdown Thomas Lemar SBC solution

FUT Showdown Thomas Lemar will require about 235,000 coins, which are also divided between two teams:

Team with a player from Atletico Madrid (83 OVR, min. 1 TOTW, min. 80 chemistry)
Team with a player from La Liga (85 OVR, min. 60 chemistry)

Team 1: Atletico Madrid

With Kieran Trippier you’ll complete the requirements in this 63,000 coins team, the rest of the team is composed of Bundesliga and Serie A players. As an information card, you’ll use Wataru Endo from TOTW 23.

Team 2: La Liga

The second SBC team will cost you around 170,000 coins to trade in. The cheapest way to do this is to buy a hybrid team from the Spanish La Liga and Italian Serie A.
