Heat Map
The new player heat map introduced in FIFA 22 allows you to see exactly where your players were positioned on the pitch during the game, both offensively and defensively. This gives you detailed feedback on how effectively each player played in their position, how the tactical instructions given were implemented, or if you need to make any changes to the lineup or system.

The statistic of expected goals (xG) is one of the newest introduced in football in general. In short, it is about the chances that a team creates and how likely it is that those chances will be taken. This results in the xG statistic. This is calculated by looking at each chance a team creates and evaluating it against the following criteria:
Type of assist - Was the assist a cross, simple pass, through ball etc.
Was it a header?
Was it a shot with a foot?
Angle of the shot
Distance of the shot
Was it a one-on-one or big chance
Did it occur from open play or a set-piece
