In FIFA 22 we can expect several new icons again. Since FIFA 18 there are the icons as we know them - and every year the player pool is extended.
Icons
The icons are an awesome feature of EA SPORTS to keep already retired players integrated in the game. They link to any given player at least orange and to other icons or players of the same nation a green connection is created. With the help of these cards it is easier to generate team chemistry. Because of this advantage and their legend status, these cards are highly desired.

Leaks keep circulating on various platforms and icons are emerging that should be expected. Among others, the names of the legendary Gabriel Batistuta, Wesley Sneijder and Jaap Stam are mentioned. We have already created a list with further expectable icons:
