3 million dollars in prize money

The qualifying rounds of the Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS) of Chapter 3 - Season 2 begin on 02.05. There, the best of the Fortnite community can win a share of a total of 3 million dollars in prize money. The competition, which lasts almost four weeks and consists of qualifiers, semi-finals and finals, will be held in a duo format.

Three qualifying rounds (02 - 06.05, 07 - 08.05, 13 - 15.05).

  • The five best teams of each qualification will advance directly to the final.

  • Each qualification consists of four rounds. In the fourth round, a fixed lobby will fight for qualification.

Semi-finals (20 - 22.05.)

  • Consist of three competition sections, each of which pits the top 50 teams (according to the Series points leaderboard) from a region against each other.

  • In the first section, 11 teams qualify for the finals, and in the second and third sections, 12 teams each qualify for the finals. Composition: Five teams with an epic win and the six most consistent teams in the first section. Six teams each with an epic win and the six most consistent teams in the second and third sections.

  • The vacant competitor places in the second and third competition sections will be filled with the teams ranked 51-73 on the Series points leaderboard. 

Finals (28 - 29.05.)

  • Consist of 12 rounds.

  • The team with the most points after the 12 rounds wins.

  • If a team manages to score 475 points and three epic victories before the completion of all 12 rounds, that team wins the Finals early by match point.

  • NAO: 637.500$

  • BR: 418.000$

  • NAW: 239.500$

  • Asien: 145.000$

  • NO: 114.000$

  • OZE: 92.000$

Conditions of participation and German favourite

To enter, you must be at least 13 years old, have activated two-factor authentication and have agreed to the Fortnite End User Licence Agreement. In addition, your player name must not violate the Code of Conduct. Your Epic account level must be at least 100 and you must be placed in at least the Arena Mode Champion League.

JannisZ is the main German hope for the EU region. He has already won one of the last Duos Cash Cups in a team with Vortex. As a two-time FNCS champion, JannisZ also brings a great deal of experience with him. In addition to his two FNCS victories, he was also able to secure 2nd place once and 4th and 7th place twice in the championships.
